Hi, my name is Paige and welcome to my blog Luxury. Service. Passion.
When planning a trip, my first step is to understand the resort before I get there—researching the best restaurants, activities, once in a lifetime experiences, and what to know before you get there . My hope is that this blog will help you decide where to go and what to expect when visiting.
I have loved travel since I was a little girl. In my 20s, I naturally started to rate resorts whenever I visited them. By my early 30s, I was passionately seeking to travel in pursuit of the most luxurious resorts and the best service I could find.
Now, my goal is to share the insights I’ve gathered by rating experiences and resorts on each of my blog posts.
Each place I visit, I am going to rate my experience on three different categories 0-10:

Luxury
I seek out the most luxurious resorts around the world. To me, luxury means every experience is premium, every product is exquisite, and every service is bespoke. It’s about surrounding yourself with the finest things in life tailored to your personal preferences. Luxury is about excellence.
Service
A resort can be luxurious yet lack exceptional service. I look for service that exceeds expectations, anticipates guests’ needs before they ask, and maintains an impeccable attitude. This criterion focuses on the staff that represents the resort.
Passion:
Certain properties ignite a passion in your soul. It could be the landscape, lights in the trees, a special welcome gift for an occasion, unique rock formations, or a bagpipe playing as the sun sets.
Live Phone Attendant:
I will also be letting you know if they have a live phone attendant when you call the hotel. Many hotels are now adopting automated messaging systems to handle guest inquiries, offering quick and efficient responses to common questions. While this technology has its conveniences, there’s something irreplaceable about speaking to a live phone attendant. A real person can provide a personalized touch, addressing unique needs or concerns with empathy and understanding that automated systems simply can’t replicate. For me, having a live attendant on the other end of the line reflects a commitment to exceptional service, something I truly appreciate when staying at a luxury hotel.
