Rosemary Beach is more than just cobblestone streets and sugar-white sand—it’s also home to some of the most charming and delicious restaurants along Florida’s scenic 30A. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic getaway, a family beach week, or a luxury weekend at The Pearl, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
After spending our 4th of July family trip in Rosemary Beach, I tried just about everything—from beachfront breakfast spots to rooftop sushi and even hibachi in our rental home. Here’s my honest take on where to eat in Rosemary Beach, what to reserve in advance, and which places I’d skip next time.
Breakfast in Rosemary Beach
Start your day with something sweet or savory. These were our top breakfast picks:
Creative Crepes
A fun, fast stop for crepes both classic and creative. Great for kids and perfect before hitting the beach.
Big Bad Breakfast
A local favorite with hearty southern portions. Think chicken and waffles, biscuits, and everything made fresh.
The Donut Hole
This one is a 30A classic. Go early or expect a line—but the donuts and cinnamon rolls are worth every minute.
Lunch on the Go (Or at the Beach House)
We were lucky enough to stay steps from the beach, so we ate at the house most days—sandwiches and snacks in between waves. But when we ventured out:
George’s at Alys Beach (No reservations)
One of my all-time favorite lunch spots. Outdoor seating, upscale casual vibes, and consistently delicious seafood and salads.

Citizens at Alys Beach
Modern, light, and breezy—perfect for a healthy, coastal lunch. Also great for a midday cocktail!

Dinner in Rosemary Beach: Favorites & Flops
If you love food as much as I do, these dinner picks will elevate your Rosemary Beach vacation. Just note that many restaurants require reservations, especially during peak season.
Restaurant Paradis – My Favorite
This was hands-down my favorite dinner spot in Rosemary Beach. Upscale, intimate, and perfect for a special night out. Book well in advance—it fills up quickly!
Old Florida Fish House
A lively place with great energy and fresh seafood. We had a fun family dinner here. Highly recommend reservations.
OKU Japanese
Chic and unexpected for a beach town—this modern sushi spot exceeded expectations. A must if you love sushi and sleek interiors.
Cowgirl Kitchen (No reservations)
Casual, fun, and easy-going. No-frills beach food with a southern flair. Good for families or nights when you want to keep it simple.
Amigos 30A Mexican Kitchen
Tasty, vibrant, and casual. This is a great spot when you’re craving tacos and margs. Bonus: it’s kid-friendly!
Mr. Hibachi – Unique Experience
One of the most memorable dinners we had—because it was in our house! Mr. Hibachi brings the whole setup to you. It was perfect for our large group and felt like dinner and a show.

Restaurants I Didn’t Love
Of course, not every restaurant lived up to the hype. Here are a few I’d personally skip next time:
Gallion’s
Pretty location, but the food and service didn’t wow me. Not worth the price in my opinion.
Edward’s
It was just okay. Nothing memorable, and I wouldn’t go back.
Pescado
This one’s tough. The rooftop views were stunning—truly the best in town—but I didn’t enjoy the menu or flavors. Worth it for drinks, maybe not for dinner.
Sweet Treats & Dessert Spots
End your evening with a little something sweet. These were our go-to dessert stops:
Kilwins Ice Cream
Classic and nostalgic. Fudge, waffle cones, ice cream—you can’t go wrong here.
The Sugar Shak
A candy lover’s dream! The kids were in heaven and it’s hard not to walk out with a bag full of goodies.

Final Thoughts
If you’re planning a Rosemary Beach vacation and love to explore a destination through its food, you’ll love the variety here. While some places felt more memorable than others, the mix of luxury dining, laid-back lunch spots, and family-friendly fare makes it easy to plan something for every night of your stay.
