As we explored the harbor, we passed Ristorante Puny, one of the most sought after restaurants in Portofino and notoriously difficult to secure reservations for. I had booked a table here ahead of our trip, knowing how popular it is.
Portofino is small, but that is part of its magic. It encourages you to slow down, walk everywhere, and truly experience the destination rather than rush through it. Later, you will see that I ultimately canceled our reservation at Ristorante Puny in favor of dining at the Dior restaurant in Paraggi. The idea of eating directly on the beach felt too special to pass up.

She explained that the Paraggi location feels more exclusive than Portofino and offers pieces you cannot find anywhere else. Without hesitation, she made a call and secured lunch reservations for us. We took her advice and caught a taxi from Portofino to Paraggi, which made the trip effortless. I would recommend taking a taxi over and walking back to fully enjoy the scenery. Just thirty minutes later, we were on our way to lunch.
Lunch at Bagni Fiore, the Dior Beach Club in Paraggi
Our destination was Bagni Fiore, the iconic Dior Beach Club in Paraggi. Paraggi is a small, picturesque cove located just outside Portofino, known for its emerald green water and relaxed, upscale atmosphere.

From Castello Brown, we continued on to Faro, the historic Portofino Lighthouse. The walk to the lighthouse is scenic and calming, surrounded by greenery and coastal views.
